Tetherow is a 700-acre resort and residential community bordering Deschutes National Forest. Tetherow says the resort is approximately 7 minutes from the Old Mill District and 20 minutes from Mt. Bachelor. Its 18-hole course was designed by David McLay Kidd, designer of Bandon Dunes.
Tetherow’s own real-estate materials describe multiple residential neighborhoods, roughly 400 custom homesites, architectural-review guidelines and community/neighborhood HOAs. Finished-home areas include Highlands Ridge, Chalet and Trailhead, while The Glen, Crescent, North Forty, Heath and Tartan Druim include new and resale custom-home opportunities. Tetherow also has vacation-home neighborhoods with separate rental requirements, so buyers should distinguish full-time residential property from vacation-home product.
Tetherow currently advertises both Golf and Social membership inquiries. Most memberships include access to Tetherow Sport, the pool and cabanas, member events, member lounges and dining/merchandise discounts. The club does not currently publish dues or initiation pricing on its public membership page, so buyers should verify current costs and availability directly with Tetherow rather than relying on an old online figure.
