There’s nothing quite like fall in Bend, and we soaked it all in with a scenic hike along the Deschutes River Trail, starting at the Big Eddie Takeout. This local favorite offers views of the river, vibrant fall colors, and—if you’re lucky—a hidden rope swing waiting to be discovered.
After a thrilling river swing session, it was time to shift gears for a luxury home showing. First stop? Donner Flower Shop, a historic Bend business since 1911. Known for stunning, handcrafted arrangements and convenient seasonal bouquets, it’s our go-to for adding that special touch before a big showing.
With flowers in hand, we grabbed comfort food at Crosscut Warming Hut. Highlights included crispy chicken and waffles with hot honey and the indulgent Monte Cristo sandwich—sweet, savory, and unforgettable.
We ended the night at Unofficial Logging Company, an axe-throwing bar in downtown Bend. Between drinks, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition, it was the perfect way to close out a day packed with adventure, beauty, and local flavor.
